Observe – self-awareness in three domains of emotions, physiology and language, including listening. I believe a leader does more than function in language, they also understand and shift their moods and emotions, as well as their physiology to create a constructive leadership presence. I also believe that, by truly observing ourselves and our environment, we can create new possibilities for action that leads to improved outcomes and improved relationships.
Choose – continual learning, making wise and conscious choices, understanding the impact of our choices on others and how these help deliver improved outcomes.
Act – take action to deliver measurable goals against an agreed plan, both for self and the business environment. Take ‘mini actions’ daily as well as the big actions to create change that ‘sticks’.
These three domains are a learned behaviour and it is through support and practice over the programme that they deliver results.
